Small is a feature, not a shortcoming

At 17 MB, PepTracker is roughly a tenth the size of the largest app in this category. That is not a sign of something missing — its listing describes protocol building for peptides, GLP-1s and testosterone, a dose calculator that takes vial amount, diluent volume and target amount and returns the exact millilitres or insulin-syringe units to draw, reminders, a home screen showing what is due, a calendar, and weight tracking.

An app that does its job in 17 MB has made deliberate choices about what not to include, and there is a real audience for exactly that. Pinned has made similar choices for similar reasons, which is why this comparison has less daylight in it than most on this site.

Where they overlap almost exactly

It would be easy to invent a distinction here, so it is worth naming the overlap directly. Both apps build protocols with custom schedules and reminders. Both show what is due today. Both convert vial strength and diluent volume into what to draw. Both track weight over time. Both keep the log free to start and put unlimited compounds, advanced scheduling and export behind a paid tier.

If you install both and use them for a week on a single compound, they will feel more alike than different. That is a fair description of the situation, and anyone telling you otherwise is selling something.

The four things that actually differ

Once the overlap is set aside, the deciding factors are specific and small enough to check against your own situation.

• Language: Pinned ships in English, Dutch, French and German. If you would rather run your record in your own language, that is the clearest reason to pick it.

Do both apps calculate what to draw?

Yes. PepTracker's listing describes entering vial amount, diluent volume and target amount to get millilitres or insulin-syringe units. Pinned's calculator does the same and also runs backwards, from a chosen unit count to the dilution that produces it, with concentration and remaining volume carried per vial.

Can Pinned put my doses in my calendar?

No. Pinned has its own schedule and reminders but does not write to Apple or Google Calendar. PepTracker's premium tier includes that, and it is a genuine reason to prefer it.

Which is free for longer?
