Private injection tracker app for iPhone

A private place to keep the records you choose to keep.

Pinned is an iPhone app for keeping your own injection-related records in one place. It can use Face ID to protect the app and lets you create an encrypted backup when you choose. Pinned does not select values, recommend a protocol, or give medical advice.

Keep the record together without creating an account

A personal record is hard to use when its details are split between notes, photos and reminders. Pinned keeps the information you enter on your iPhone, including protocol, inventory and health-record data. There is no Pinned account to create and no Pinned server that stores those health records.

That design has a practical consequence: the record stays under your control on the device where you entered it. It is not a shared log and it does not offer cloud sync. If you need a record for someone else to access, choose a product built for that job instead.

Use Face ID before opening the record

Pinned can put an optional Face ID lock in front of the app. That is useful when your phone is shared at home, handed to a child, or left within sight at work. It protects access to the app; it is not a promise that a phone has no other privacy risks.

The privacy policy is deliberately specific about the boundary. Your health records are kept on the device. Purchase validation and, if you leave it enabled, anonymous usage counts have separate handling. Read the Privacy Policy for the complete explanation before you decide whether the model fits you.

Create an encrypted backup only when you want one

Local storage makes a backup your responsibility. In Pinned, an encrypted backup is created when you export it, rather than copied automatically to a Pinned server. You choose where to keep that file and whether it belongs in your own backup routine.

The backup uses a passphrase. Keep it with the file's recovery plan, because Pinned cannot recover a backup when that passphrase is lost. A private tracker is only useful if you can still reach the information you decided to retain.

A tracker, not a clinical authority

Pinned records what you enter. It does not recommend compounds, sources, doses or protocols, and it is not a substitute for a licensed healthcare professional. The app does not turn a private record into a diagnosis or a treatment plan.

That distinction matters for searchers looking for an injection tracker. A useful record can help you find what you wrote down. It cannot tell you what should happen next. Decisions about treatment belong with a clinician who knows the person and product involved.

Common questions

Is Pinned a private injection tracker?
